Due to the fact that it is in the form of a powder, it can be used both in hydroponics, coconut or soil.

There are two main types of beneficial fungi: endomycorrhiza and ectomycorrhiza. Endomycorrhizae usually grow next to vegetables, shrubs, flowers and fruit trees. The 'ecto' variety, however, is more adapted to growing on conifers and oaks. Ecto (outdoor) varieties tend to grow in the medium itself, while endo (indoor) varieties actually penetrate the root cells, facilitating greater levels of nutrient uptake through close symbiosis. The combination of these two ensures coverage of all bases, regardless of the selected plant species.
