Air pumps
Why do I need an air pump? Air pumps are essential in hydroponic systems to keep the nutrient (fertilizer) solution aerated and to ensure that the maximum amount of oxygen is delivered to the roots. Roots, in turn, need access to water, nutrients and oxygen to function properly, so the right amount of dissolved oxygen in the nutrient medium will facilitate and improve absorption.
