Soil for cactuses and succulents is a specialized substrate prepared for planting and repotting cactus and other succulents.
Cactus and succulents in their natural environment grow in difficult and demanding conditions, which is why we have created a substrate that adapts to their needs. Significant amounts of mineral additives, such as expanded clay, used in the substrate, make the structure of the substrate porous and permeable. This helps regulate air and water management, prevents water stagnation and protects the roots from excess moisture.
The earth contains the right dose of micro and macro elements necessary for the proper growth of plants. Ready-to-use multicomponent medium.
Some useful information:
- cactus like good sunlight, you can grow them on windowsills on the south side, as well as in greenhouses and conservatories. The exception are grafted cacti (colored heads) which should not be in full sun.
- watering should be very sparing, especially during winter dormancy. At this time, lowering the ambient temperature to 10-15 degrees has a good effect on them.
- transplanting cacti is best done in autumn or winter, be careful when doing so so as not to damage the root system of plants, and gently clean the root ball of dead parts.
- when planting a plant in a container, do not forget about the drainage layer, e.g. Biovita expanded clay.
Application:
Ideal for repotting cactus in pots and all kinds of succulents in pots, boxes and soil.
Natural organic substrate for growing cacti and all succulents, e.g. spurge, house sedum, stonecrop, aloe.
