Characteristics of the plant Agostana onions are a variety that matures quite late, because its growing period lasts about 130 days. Produces onions in the shape of a ball. Their diameter can range from 6 to 8 cm, and the weight varies between 190 and 220 g. The puss is hard and juicy, surrounded by a snow-white, strong scale. Agostana onions have a very good taste, relatively mild compared to other varieties, but not without a spicy note. Their consumer qualities make them great as an ingredient in salads or an addition to sandwiches. Onion sowing: Onions are recommended to grow in the spring.
